Ecovillage Social Enterprise Incubation Program (ECOSEIP)

The Ecovillage Social Enterprise Incubation Program (ECOSEIP) is an initiative of the GEN Ghana Council to provide youth, community leaders and entrepreneurs within the ecovillage network in Ghana who have innovative social enterprise ideas, or who have started a small eco-friendly business initiative and needs to grow it, to be able to have the needed training, advisory support, business skills and access to finances to be able to grow their business ideas into sustainable businesses in order to help in achieving sustainable development in Ghana and Africa

ECOSEIP seeks to organize periodic boot camps and ideas challenge in helping youth and social entrepreneurs to gain the requisite skills and expertise to run their businesses successfully

ECOSEIP also seeks to share opportunities for youth and social entrepreneurs to participate in other entrepreneurial ecosystems and incubation programs to provide a wider net of experience for the youth and be able to help them grow their businesses sustainably.

ECOSEIP will furthermore provide business advisory and coaching support to eco-entrepreneurs to be able to develop and grow their green businesses sustainably to be able to transform traditional villages into ecovillages.

The ECOSEIP program will also assist eco-entrepreneurs to have access to financing to be able to grow the businesses. To submit your business idea, please send a mail to [email protected] for an application form.

NEWS UPDATE ON ECOSEIP

  1. Tony Elumelu Foundation has opened an application for youth to submit their business ideas and apply for a grant of up to $5000 to support their businesses. The deadline is on 29th February 2019. Please visit for more information: https://www.tonyelumelufoundation.org/application-process
